Congratulations to our Middle School student, CAIN McMILLAN, who received a Silver Key award for Design last night for the 2010 Macomb, St. Clair and Lapeer Region of The Scholastic Art Awards held at the Macomb Center of the Performing Arts.

Hall of Fame Inductee:
Congratulations to Mitch Ritter, Assistant Superintendent, who is being honored Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Wayne State University. He is being inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame.

New School-based health Center Opens:
Clintondale High School has become the home of a new school-based community health center run by St. John Health System Community Health. It is Macomb County’s first clinic located inside of a public school. During the first year, services will be offered to students in the Middle and High School. In the second year, the center doors will open to other children in the community. Students will be able to get basic exams at the center, come in when they’re ill, and receive immunizations and health education. Grand Opening is scheduled for March 10th from 2 to 4 p.m.

Scholarships for Graduating Seniors:
Dr. Jay Blazius and Mr. Matt Didio, Clintondale alumni and great supporters of the District, have decided to award scholarships to our graduating seniors this year in the total amount of $2,000.
Also, Michigan First Credit Union, located in the Meijer’s store on 15 Mile Road and Utica, are awarding a $1,000 scholarship to one of our seniors.

Clintondale Community School District is located in Clinton Township, Michigan, northeast of Detroit in southern Macomb County. The district enjoys a small-town atmosphere with the convenience of a large city surrounding and easy access to Interstate 94.

Clintondale is a PreK-12 public school district including PreSchool, three elementary schools: McGlinnen, Rainbow, and Parker Elementary (grades K-5), Clintondale Middle School (grades 6-8), Clintondale High School (grades 9-12), and Clintondale Continuing Educational Center.


We are currently accepting applications for School of Choice enrollment for the 2009/2010 School Year.

Schools of Choice is available to those students who reside in Macomb County as well as students within another contiguous intermediate school district.
